REFUND & REBATES POLICY

Family Rebates

Rebates of 10% are offered to families of three or more Hornets players, including both children and adults, registered to play in the summer.  If three or more people from your family are selected to a Hornets competitive team, please fill out the required “discount registration form” and send it to the Office Manager (hornets@magma.ca).  A rebate will be mailed to you shortly after.  Family-rebate requests must be received by May 31.

Refunds

All refunds for our programs are subject to a $25.00 administration fee,

  • WILL NOT INCLUDE THE TRY- OUT FEE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES
  • Must be submitted IN WRITING by the parent / guardian / senior player and clearly indicate the reason for withdrawal,
    • DO NOT ASK A COACH TO PASS ON VERBAL REFUND REQUESTS
    • VERBAL REQUESTS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE
    • REQUESTS MADE OVER THE PHONE OR THROUGH VOICE MAIL WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED
  • Refunds will be recorded and tracked by the office
  • A $30.00 NSF fee will be charged on all NSF cheques.

Summer Session – Outdoor Season

Less the $25.00 administration fee, Full or Partial Refunds will be processed with the following criteria:

  • Where a player trying out for a competitive team is not selected for a specific team and player decides to leave Gloucester Soccer Association immediately after tryouts.
  • For players who withdraw prior to the formation of teams.
  • Where a player suffers a season ending injury, certified by the attending physician prior to July 31st.  The refund will be prorated as follows;

· Prior to June 30th 50% refund

· July 1st – July 31st 25% refund

· After August 1st No refund

  • Processing of refunds will occur after June 15th for the summer session.

Winter Development – Indoor Season

Less the $25.00 administration fee, refunds will be processed prior to October 1st:

  • Refund of 75% if the request is received before registration deadline October
  • Refund of 50% if request is received after October 1st, but before the start of the program.  No refund after the start of program.

ZERO REFUNDS

Refunds will NOT be processed under the following conditions:

  • Written requests received after June 30th
  • Competitive players withdrawing after been offered and accepted to a team. NO EXCEPTIONS
  • Where a player transfers to another club after Gloucester Hornets has registered them with the governing soccer organizations, NO EXCEPTIONS
  • Where a player has been disciplined by one of the governing soccer organizations, the club or has outstanding debts to the club.

Outstanding Disciplinary Fines

A player who is fined by the EODSA or a similar governing body is held personally responsible for that fine if found guilty by an appointed disciplinary committee. A player will NOT be registered for their respective league if outstanding fines or fees are not addressed.
