EODSA League & ERSL – Understanding the Changes

Confused about the new EODSA League, the following information may shed a little light on the situation.

In 2009, the EODSA started a Level 5 league.  This league was operated by the ERSL and the divisions remained the      same  as in the previous years.

Beginning in 2010, the EODSA League will be operated by the EODSA, but, will contract out the administration to the ERSL.  This will provide teams with a single contact for all game related issues such as reschedules, etc.  The new website for the EODSA League will be where Level 5 teams will register and manage their schedules, etc.  We are in the process of completing all of the information in this website.

The separation has created some confusion over the naming of Divisions.  The ERSL has changed their league level references to L3 and L4 versus Regional and Premier.

The EODSA League Level 5 operates 2 divisions up to Under 12 and playups are permitted between these divisions.  Since 2 division names were required and the ERSL was no longer using Premier, the EODSA League decided to use Premier and Division 1 up to U12 and Premier from U13 an older.

League levels for 2010:

Level 3 (L3) – EODSA and SOSA teams
Level 4 (L4) – EODSA and SOSA teams

EODSA League
