Q. Can house league teams apply for the Tournament or Festival
A. Yes, but teams must be affiliated with a Provincially sanctioned Club and possess insurance and valid player identification cards/books.
Q. What is the maximum number of players allowed on the roster?
A. U9 & U10 Festival teams play 7v7 soccer and are permitted a maximum of 12 players
on their roster; U11 & U12 Festival teams play 9v9 soccer and are permitted a maximum of 16 players
on their roster; and U13 and older Tournament teams play 11v11 soccer and are permitted a maximum of 18 players
on their roster.
Q. Why do the U9 to U12 Festival age groups play on different days?
A. These age groups are one day only Festivals and due to field availability we split up the 7v7 and 9v9 age groups to play on different days.
Tier 1 Festival teams play Saturdays,
Tier 2 Festival teams play Sundays
Q. How do you determine which Tier to enter for Tournament play?
A. The top tier of play is designed for: Ontario based teams playing at Level 4 or District Competitive 1 and Québec teams playing at the AA level. We do permit Ontario Level 3 teams and Québec AAA teams to play in the Tournament but they must play in Tier 1 of the next highest age bracket. The second tier of play is designed for: Ontario based teams playing at Level 5 or District Competitive 2 and Québec teams playing at the A level.
Q. Do you need Terra Power Rankings in your application?
A. No. But if you are an Ontario team you can access your ranking number at: http://tpr.getgame.ca
For out of province teams, please enter "N/A".
Q. How many games will teams play?
A. For one day Festival teams there are 3 games (at 33 mins for U9 & 10 or 46 mins for U11 & 12) and for Tournament teams there is a minimum of
3 games (at 50 or 60 mins) plus playoffs, for those teams that qualify.
